Whether you’re a serious rambler or just enjoy a leisurely stroll, there are fantastic walks from Pensford, though fields, meadows and quiet lanes. There’s a beautiful Rambler's route taking you to the standing stones at Stanton Drew.
Bath is a beautiful city, worth a visit if only to take in the Georgian architecture. The town centre is a great shopping spot and in the run up to Christmas the Bath Christmas Market is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit.
The city is a World Heritage Site, famous for the Roman baths, definitely worth visiting, along with the Bath Thermae spa, great for relaxing in the city’s naturally hot spa water.
Bristol has a lot to offer, it’s a city full of passion, art, history and FOOD!
The SS Great Britain is perfect to while away a rainy afternoon, it’s great for both adults and kids, you’ll feel like you’ve travelled back in time. It’s based in Bristol’s floating harbour, which is definitely worth a look whilst you’re there. The Clifton Suspension Bridge is not to be missed whilst in the city, even if you just drive under it or over it.
Bristol is the home of Banksy, and regular walking tours are held to show you his work which is hidden in and around Bristol's centre, it’s also a nice way to get your bearings in the city.
A gorgeous nature reserve with a large variety of breeding birds. The site has a visitor centre, café and picnic area, Chew Valley Lake is a really lovely place to explore all year round.
There's something for everyone at Cheddar Gorge, beautiful walks to take in the views, caves to explore and shops and cafes to recover in. You can do this day out anyway you like, whether it’s the standard touristy day or getting off the beaten track.
A full day out for all the family. The Safari park offers a drive through safari, followed by exploring the huge animal park, where you can get up close with a vast array of animals. The estate’s mansion house is also open to nose around and find out about the history of the estate.
